Masters Tournament Badge and Ticket Prices to Reach Record Highs in 2026

Tickets to surpass $500 in 2026

Augusta National has announced that ticket and badge prices for the 2026 Masters Tournament will see a significant increase, with the cost of a four-day series badge surpassing the $500 mark for the first time in the event's history.

Key Details:

  1. Price Hikes: The price of a four-day tournament badge (Thursday–Sunday) is increasing from $450 to $525, a 16.7% increase. This is the first price adjustment since 2023.

  2. Daily Ticket Changes: Daily tournament tickets for lottery winners will rise from $140 to $160. Practice round tickets are also seeing increases: Monday and Tuesday will cost $125 (up from $100), and Wednesday (which includes the Par 3 Contest) will rise to $150.

  3. Context for Increase: The price adjustment follows Augusta National's recent effort to crack down on the secondary resale market. By comparison, while the venue's prices are at an all-time high, they remain significantly lower than those for other major sporting events; for example, single-day tickets for the 2025 Ryder Cup were priced at $750.

  4. Timeline: While the lottery for 2026 tickets has already concluded (with winners notified in mid-2025), the updated pricing was communicated to patrons and badge holders in early January 2026. The 2026 Masters is scheduled to take place from April 9–12, 2026.
